SUMMARY                                       

This position will Manage activities associated with 3-Pillar Fundamentals.  For continuous improvement, duties may be adjusted depending on skillset, efficiency, and company needs.                                                                                                                                        

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                          

  • Follow Manufacturing Company, and Department Level Hoshin Kanri and targets.
  • Develop plans for Manufacturing Section targets. This may include preparing future planning, fixed asset budgetary spending control, and other duties.
  • Responsible for coordination of 3-Pillar training requirements and procedures.
  • Responsible for 3-Pillar management, including; chart updates, schedules, graphs, tours, and future planning.
  • Set and follow standards in operations. (rule, tool, technical skill).
  • Continue to improve standards so anyone can follow. (rule, tool, technical skill).
  • Strive to Achieve gold standard. Improve and Innovate.
  • Implement many small improvements in line, process, and operation to achieve "smooth" production.
  • Expedite application of improvements in other areas
  • Set up contact window for improvement. (Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Productivity)
  • Standardize and conduct training. Focus on training quality and speed.
  • Create Production Reports and Videos (Before and After Improvement)
  • Benchmark competitors, other plants, and other departments to continually improve standards.
  • Will perform all other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.

  • Supervise 3-Pillar specific employees

  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local applicable training guidelines and requirements.
  • General ECU, Mounting, Sensor, Electric Water Pump process knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED                             

  • Associate's degree, or equivalent on-site applicable experience required.               
  • Applicable experience in the field(s) of Training and/or Supervision preferred.               
  • Management Experience preferred.
  • Electronics Background and/or experience desired.
  • Automotive Industry experience desired.

              

ORGANIZATIONAL (AND OUTSIDE) RELATIONSHIPS                                        

  • All other AEIL Departments.
  • AISIN Corporate (AHA/AWA) Headquarters Members.
  • AISIN Seiki and/or Aisin Group Company Officials.
  • All other various outside vendors, local community.
  • Local, State, and Federal agencies.

                                            

WORK ENVIRONMENT                                

  • Open Manufacturing area with constant activity and interaction with cross-functional divisions, departments, and sections. Must be able to effectively change tasks at a moment's notice when the situation requires.                                       
  • Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane, solvents and occasional lifting.                              
  • Minimal Exposure to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could result in injury up to and including a fatality if safety measures are not followed and adhered to.                                
  • Minimal exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils. The performance of this position normally requires exposure similar to general office work, with a few minimal exceptions.  There are areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes and safety glasses.
